Terms of service
Last updated
These terms govern your use of networkaitools.com: the certificate and domain expiry monitor, and the free checker tools. By creating an account or using the tools you agree to them.
Who provides the service
The service at networkaitools.com is provided by the operator of NetworkAI, reachable at support@networkaitools.com. In these terms, "we" means that provider and "you" means the person or organisation using the service.
What the service does
NetworkAI checks the TLS certificates, domain registrations and DNS records of hostnames you add, and alerts you by email, Slack or webhook when a certificate is not being renewed, is about to expire, or has a problem. The free tools run one-off checks of DNS, email authentication, HTTP security headers, certificates and domains.
NetworkAI is a safety net, not a replacement for your own renewal process. Checks depend on networks, DNS, registries and third-party providers that can fail, and an alert can be delayed or not delivered. You remain responsible for renewing your certificates and domains.
Your account
You need an account to monitor domains. Give a working email address, keep your login details secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
The service is intended for businesses and professionals. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Acceptable use
Our checks are read-only and use the same public information a browser or mail server sees. You agree not to:
- monitor or check hosts you have no legitimate reason to check, or use the service for reconnaissance against systems you are not authorised to assess;
- get around rate limits, plan limits or other technical restrictions, including by automating the free tools or creating multiple accounts;
- use the service to overload, attack or disrupt any system, including ours;
- resell or offer the service to third parties as your own without our written agreement;
- use the service in breach of any law.
We may suspend accounts or block access to the free tools when we have good reason to believe these rules are being broken. Where possible we tell you first and give you a chance to respond.
Plans and limits
The Free plan monitors up to 5 domains with daily checks and email alerts. The Pro plan monitors up to 50 domains and adds Slack and webhook alerts (up to 5 of each) and CSV import. Current prices and features are on the pricing page. The free tools are free and limited per visitor.
We may change what the Free plan includes. If a change removes something you use, we give you at least 30 days' notice.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Prices are shown before you pay; taxes are added where required.
You can cancel at any time in the billing section of your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro features until then and are not charged again. We do not refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
If we change the price of your plan, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you. You can cancel before the new price takes effect. If a payment fails, we may move your account to the Free plan after notifying you.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days. If you ask us to start the service during that period, you owe a proportionate amount for the time used.
Your data
The hostnames and settings you add remain yours. We use them only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You can delete domains at any time, and ask us to delete your account and its data.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running and to check every domain on schedule. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may carry out maintenance. We may improve or change features; we will not remove a core feature of a paid plan during a period you have already paid for.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee.
For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential contractual obligation — one that makes proper performance of the contract possible and on which you may regularly rely — and then only for the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. For paid plans this liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the damage occurred. Otherwise we are not liable for slight negligence.
The free tools and the Free plan are provided free of charge; for them our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, except for injury to life, body or health.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using NetworkAI and delete your account at any time. We may end a Free account with 30 days' notice, and a paid plan at the end of a billing period with 30 days' notice. Either side may end the agreement immediately for good cause, for example a serious breach of the acceptable-use rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We tell account holders about material changes by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not object within that period, the new terms apply; we remind you of this right and its effect in the email. If you object, either side may end the agreement when the change takes effect.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer law in the country where you live.
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued in July 2025. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
